The Single Gals Valentines: Drop Dead Chocolates – Queen of Hearts

So ladies, just how many ideas did you get from my Valentines Fantasy Wishlist yesterday? I really do think I can’t live without those Jimmy Choos. Today’s post is about chocolate and it’s not a valentines weekend without indulging in a delicious box of extravagant confectionery. Whether you are given a box or want to treat yourself, the Drop Dead Chocolates – Queen of Hearts box* is quite possibly one of the best boxes of chocolates I’ve seen in a long time.

Drop Dead Chocolates have over 20 years of experience in providing luxury chocolates to restaurants and hotels. With their experience, the Drop Dead Chocolate range was born with specialised packaging so any chocolates purchased are packaged as such so they fit through your letter box. Delivery is quick with First Class Mail, and a special delivery option available for a last minute gift. From the moment they landed on my doorstep, I was super impressed with just how well they were packaged and how they arrived in an immaculate condition.

The Queen of Hearts box couldn’t be any more perfect for Valentine’s Day. The box contains 48 hand finished chocolates in a selection of delicious flavours. Although the menu inside the box lists the full selection of chocolates that Drop Dead Chocolates make, the box only contains a select few. The menu has certainly got my taste buds going for my next box. Inside the Queen of Hearts box are the following

Drop Dead Chocolates - Queen of Hearts

8 milk chocolate neopolitans
8 dark chocolate neopolitans
4 passion fruit ganache
4 milk chocolate praline
4 white chocolate praline
4 lime ganache
4 passion fruit fondant cream
4 red foil milk chocolate praline hearts
4 gold foil milk chocolate praline hearts
4 pink foil champagne hearts

I must tell you just how much I enjoyed sampling these chocolate, for research purposes of course. The passion fruit chocolates in particular were just amazing. I’m a sucker for white chocolate and sweet fondants so they were just beautiful.

I couldn’t imagine anybody not liking the Drop Dead Chocolates – Queen of Hearts box and at £24.50 it is a great price for so many chocolates. If those aren’t to your taste, you can customise (or drop hints) as to what you would like in your own special box. The Drop Dead Chocolates website is filled with some gorgeous collections with flavours to suit every palette. Yum!
