Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2014

Over the last few years, October has become synonymous with Breast Cancer Awareness and the month of the pink products. From food, to clothing, home wares and beauty products, more and more brands are joining in with their contribution to help raise money for Breast Cancer. This year in particular has seen a huge amount of money, over £2 million, go towards Breast Cancer charities with the No Make Up Selfie. I took part and made my donation and it was joyous to see just how many people took part to donate to this wonderful cause. I’ve chosen my favourite beauty products that you can buy to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2014.

GHD have brought out a collection of limited edition coloured stylers, the aptly named Birds of Paradise collection. In three vivid colours, Sunset, Lagoon and the very beautiful Coral. For every purchase of the Coral styler, GHD will donate £10 to Breakthrough Breast Cancer UK.

A firm favourite of my Nanna’s, the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream has been updated for 2014. In a gorgeous pink tub, nestled into a pink velvet pouch and placed into a limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness box, its pure luxury. A great saving of £61, making the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream just £99, and Elemis pledges to donate a grand total of £10,000 to the charity.

OPI will be launching a pink polish duo in October with £2 per pack sold going towards the Future Dreams Charity. The OPI Pink of Hearts contains a creamy pale pink polish, a pink glitter top coat and a limited edition sparkle nail file with a pink ribbon charm. Keep an eye out for this, as I have no link for purchase as of yet!

One brand that stands out to me with their fundraising work for Breast Cancer Awareness, with donations going to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is Estée Lauder. Estée Lauder has a huge amount of brands under their umbrella, including Origins, Tom Ford, Jo Malone and several other well loved brands. See the BCA Campaign 2014 Pink Ribbon Products for all the limited edition products. Here are some of my favourites:

Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne, available October 1st.
