Yes, my dears, you have read the title correctly. There is an Oliver Bonas in Manchester. I can’t tell you just how excited I was when I saw the boarded up shop front in Piccadilly Station. For those of you who are thinking ‘What’s an Oliver Bonas?’, let me tell you. Not only a bloggers paradise for those cute and quirky little accessories, marble and rose gold pieces of furniture and the to die for pineapple goblet, but a shop that offers homeware, beauty, fashion, accessories and gifts all under one roof. Each Oliver Bonas piece is carefully curated for it’s style and pleasing aesthetic, with pieces that inspire with great design and an eye for detail. I seriously could deck out my entire home with specialist pieces, that not only look amazing but feel homely and in keeping with my personal style.
The new store is fabulous. Fresh, bright and airy and packed full of the most beautiful pieces that make me want to spend all of my money. With a full range of products, it’s quite the sensory overload especially when faced with beautiful textures and fabrics of the cushions and throws at the front of the store, that mingle with statement pieces to fill a room. With the latest fashion pieces adorning the rails, gorgeous tote bags and scarves across the wall and the softest, fluffiest socks and winter warming hats, scarves and gloves, I wanted it all.
The beauty section is quite extensive, and what I love about Oliver Bonas Beauty is that all the packaging has hand drawn designs, in colourful bespoke patterns. I’ve been lucky enough to be gifted a beautiful Neroli and Mimosa candle and a Shea Butter Lip Balm, and the packaging is just so beautiful. The beauty range has been extended into a range of gifts ready for the festive period, and there are some delightful little crackers filled with bath marbles, as well as the cutest toiletry bag with a ginger cat design.
I couldn’t take my eyes of the homeware section and after spotting all the copper pineapple items, you can see why. My kitchen has a retro, vintage feel in shades of pistachio green and baby pink, and even just from browsing the aisles, I has spotted so many things that would look amazing in my kitchen. This is the thing with gorgeous homeware, I just want it all.
I have a feeling that a wish list post may be in order, but until then, you can see my favourites scattered throughout my pictures. Roll on payday! You can find Oliver Bonas at Manchester Piccadilly station next to Boots.
