Good morning gorgeous people and welcome to the weekend. Although I don’t get chance to have many weekends at home, when I do, I really embrace it. Weekends to me are designed for relaxing, preferably with a good box set whilst snuggled into the corner of my couch whilst scented candles work their magic, leaving a certain ambience. I’ve been burning scented candles and melting tarts for many years, and I have select fragrances for each room. I love the heavier, more sensual fragrances in the bedroom, clean cotton and ocean breeze in the bathroom and the scent of cakes and baking in the kitchen. Having such a wide range of fragrances can get quite costly, however Flamingo Candles have once again cracked it with their new monthly subscription service, The Melt Crowd.
For just £10 per month, The Melt Crowd contains eight wax melts, in various fragrances that can be melted for up to 30 hours. Delivered in a box that slips easily through the letterbox, there is no chance that the postman will be unable to deliver your parcel. Inside the June box and out of the eight melts, there was only one fragrance that I had tried, the Mango and Dragonfruit which was one of the new Summer fragrances. The melts are the same amazing quality as the candle and depending on the size of your room, you could probably get away with breaking the melt in half and getting more melt time for your money. I have a large lounge so one melt is adequate for the size of my room, yet half a melt is enough for my smaller bathroom. The June box also comes with a wax burner, if you didn’t already have one.
The eight scents are as follows; Daisy, Thai Lime and Mango, Fresh Mown Grass, Pina Colada, Mango and Dragonfruit, Sweet Lime and Cedar, Juicy Clementine and Tropical Coconut and Honey. So far I have melted Tropical Coconut and Honey which smells just like holidays and today I have been melting Daisy, which is one of my personal favourites. According to Flamingo, the first three months worth of boxes will all have scents that haven’t been featured before, however after the three months there may be some repeat scents. I think this is absolutely great as old favourites will be mixed with new fragrances.
I’ve had a little browse on the Scent Melts page at the available scents and there are some that I am dying to try. I just love how a simple scent can change the whole mood of the house. I have always enjoyed melting wax tarts and with the Flamingo Candles The Melt Crowd subscription, I will be able to experience a wide range of fragrances without making too big a dent in my purse.
