I’ve been to some pretty good events over the last few months but one of my favourites has been the Trilogy Skincare event that took place at the DoubleTree Hilton in Manchester. It was one of those beautiful Spring days, when you started to realise that Winter was disappearing quickly and Spring was knocking on the door. Fresh and crisp, I was skipping through Manchester, feeling full of the joys. The Sky Lounge at the DoubleTree was the ideal location to learn about all things Trilogy, with the sun shining onto the terrace and a room filled with the most amazing scented products. I was in skincare heaven.
I’ve used one product by Trilogy and I’m sure you can guess what it was, as it is the most famous product that they make ; the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. I love a good facial oil and find that they really help in balancing out my combination skin and adding that extra oomph that my dehydrated skin needs.
I was shown the entire range of products that Trilogy make and I was so surprised at just how extensive the range is. Product ranges include hair, body and self tan as well as ultra sensitive and those with age concerns. I spotted a handful of products that I have added to my wishlist including upgrading my Rosehip Oil to the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + as it helps protect against the environment. Perfect for a trolley dolly or what?! I want to add the Hydrating Mist Toner into my daily routine and I spotted the CoQ10 Serum which I was getting all heart eyed emoji’d at as I love anything with the Q10 enzyme in it as it helps with signs of ageing.
I had a great experience in making my own Trilogy moisturiser whilst I was there which is something that I never expected that I would do. Its quite hard work pumping hot water into the concentrate, a blend of 12 natural botanical ingredients. The concentrate includes rosehip, evening primrose and marula and it feels quite waxy. As water and wax don’t blend together easily, water has to be forced into the wax in order to break it down and for the moisturiser to form as moisturiser as we know it.
A cup of tea, a good chat with the Trilogy experts and chicken wraps and chips on the terrace ended a beautiful day that was filled with all things natural and beautiful. I was lucky enough to take home my own hand made moisturiser as well as two items from the Trilogy skincare range; the Vital Moisturising Cream* and the Mineral Radiance Mask*. I’ll report back on them soon.
Have you tried any Trilogy Skincare? What do you think?
