I’m totally in love with the entire Naked range from Urban Decay, so when I heard that the Flushed palette was being released I had exceptionally high hopes for this little baby.
The palette itself is housed in a metallic plastic flip topped box with a magnetic fastening. Inside is a generously sized mirror and the product itself looks gorgeous. My first impression was how the colours are very warm toned and look very pigmented.
The bronzer is a warm brown tone, with a pink toned highlight and a berry blush.
I have tanned skin at the moment so when applied over my usual foundation it gave me a warm sun kissed glow. Less is definitely more of the highlighter as if applied too heavy handed it does have a tendency to look too frosty metallic on. A fluffy brush distributed the colour evenly and looked great when highlighting. The blush is not my usual colour as I tend to go for candy pinks, however i loved how it looked on. Blending is definitely key for this one.
Although the palette seems to be seen as a summery holiday palette after reading other blog reviews, I feel that the blusher is more suited to winter where I will wear more berry and damson shades. The bronzer is definitely my favourite part of the palette as it is matte and creates a beautiful glow on your skin.
