I have had massive shopping urges lately and there are just way too many nice products appearing on shelves in my favourite shops. I’m trying to be good, as I really don’t need to be buying anything so I’ve been spending a lot of time virtual shopping instead. The amount of times that I have filled up my online shopping basket with £500 worth of stuff and then simply clicked off the page without purchasing. It somehow makes me feel great and my bank account is still relatively intact. I’ve put together a Lust List of products that I want for Autumn; some items that I have been wanting for an age, and some that are new and I can’t stop thinking about.
The L’Occitane Divine Collection has flown straight to the top of my Lust List, and after reading Bart from In Haute Pursuit review on the L’Occitane Divine Cream Mask, I want everything from the Divine Collection. Although a pricey £120, the items within the set have a £160 value and there isn’t an item within the set that I wouldn’t use. The Divine Collection is formulated with immortelle essential oil and a botanical-7 complex that combats signs of anti-ageing. Featuring a 200ml Immortelle Oil based make up remover, 50ml Divine Lotion, 50ml Divine Cream and a 15ml Divine Eyes packaged in a luxurious gift box, it would make a great belated birthday gift for myself, as well as being ideal for some extra TLC when I arrive in my long haul destinations. The Divine Collection products, although made for mature skin are also a great addition to add to my transitional skincare whilst the weather is getting more Autumnal. The use of the Immortelle flower from Corsica is also quite significant, as this flower doesn’t fade – even after being picked so it makes me feel really good about how well the formula will work on skin that is starting to age.
One of my absolute favourite perfumes has been given a magical makeover and is exclusive to Selfridges. The Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum 50ml has been given an exploding star addition to the bottle whilst being packed in a limited edition box. I have been wearing Flowerbomb for many years, and since running out a few months ago, I haven’t repurchased. Maybe I have subconsciously been waiting for this limited edition to hit the shelves.
A product that has been on my list since it was first launched, the Charlotte Tilbury Air-brush flawless finish skin-perfecting micro-powder (mouthful or what!) is a flawless complexion is a seriously stunning compact. When this was used on my skin during my Tilbury make over, I knew that it had to be mine. I have some birthday money to spend, so this may be mine very shortly!
Now that there is a chill in the air and the nights are getting darker, I love nothing more than being able to cosy up in my pyjamas after a hot bath. For a luxurious treat, the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir bath oil is already making me feel all kind of cosy. As Pomegranate Noir is my favourite scent from the Jo Malone collection, I can layer up with my cologne, whilst my candle flickers away and my bed linen spray envelops me in luxury.
Why on earth do I not already own these Zoeva Rose Gold luxury brushes? I have been wanting them for ages and I still haven’t bought them. I have made myself a promise and that is to have these beauties in my possession before Christmas. In fact, they will be going on my Christmas list then Santa will definitely deliver these down my chimney and put them safely in my stocking. Job done. And as a side note, I also feel like I need to have the face brushes too.
Went all the way to Orlando the other week, headed to Macys to get every single illuminator they had and was told that it would be taking another three weeks to get the stock in. How annoying. So, when I am in Las Vegas this week, they had best have one otherwise I will be very sad. This is all I have to say on this matter! Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators are available in four shades; Peach Nectar, So Hollywood, Starlight and Riviera and they are all so swoonworthy. NEED.
A Touche Éclat is a handbag essential and as I will be needing a new one in approximately six more early morning get ups, then I may as well have the limited edition exclusive to Selfridges Kiss and Love Touche Éclat. The Kiss and Love collection is so gorgeous and all the packaging is covered in mini lipstick kisses. Wait until you see my Kiss and Love Rouge Pur Couture lipstick – it’s to die for.
The last item on my lust list is this beautiful neutral palette from Stila. The Soul palette is just the ideal colour palette filled with a mixture of finishes for creating daytime smokes and evening glamour looks. I love the Stila In The Light palette and if this palette has the same formulation and quality then we are on to a winner. I know I don’t need yet another a neutral palette but just look at how pretty it is!
