My second Cohorted Beauty Box is here and it’s a really good one. After last months box which absolutely blew me away, I wasn’t sure if the next box would live up to my high expectations but I needn’t have worried, April is a corker. The April box literally sold out on pre orders alone and at the time of writing, the May pre order has also sold out. For future reference, pre order goes live on the 15th of each month and I have noticed that the Cohorted website is now saying that more boxes may be available on the 1st of May. It may be worth bookmarking it so you don’t miss out again.
Within the Cohorted Beauty Box for April, the contents stand at 3 full sized products and one trial sized product. It’s so good that the products are full size as there are so many boxes these days that are just filled to the brim of sample sizes and you just can’t get a good feel for the actual product. The box itself is what is becoming Cohorted’s signature box, glossy with a black ribbon that can be used again. Here’s what was inside:
Korres Mulberry Vanilla Body Butter, 250ml (full sized £19.50)
Korres is cropping up everywhere at the moment and I’m really enjoying what I’ve been seeing lately. Paraben free, this body butter is packed with Shea butter to hydrate the body and quince extract to heal the skin. The scent of the body butter for me is quite sweet at first but it warms down into a rich, creamy scent. Delicious.
Ark Age Prepare Skin Purifying Masque, 30ml (full sized is 75ml £10)
I’ve never tried any of the Ark skincare range before so I am looking forward to my skincare Sunday where I can relax with a facemask. It’s designed for congested skin and will reduce the appearance of pores and hopefully unblock any clogged pores, leaving skin feeling brand new.
bareMinerals Heavenly Face Brush, (full sized £22.00)
I have a feeling that my Sister in Law will be pinching this from me as she is addicted to bareMinerals products. The brush is so soft and silky and is designed to be used with the bareMinerals foundation. I do really like the concept of bareMinerals and I love how a good brush can make you look flawless.
MAC Cosmetics Sheertone Shimmer blush in Dolly Mix (full sized £18)
I am not certain why I have never reviewed this blusher on my blog before as I wear it all the time. In fact, it was the very first MAC blusher that I ever bought. It looks quite scary in the pan as it is such a bright pink, but the sheertone formula means that it very buildable. It’s a great all year round colour, and I love that fresh pink cheeks look that it gives. Beautiful.
The contents of the April Cohorted Beauty Box total a whopping £79.50 which is amazing for a £20 price tag. It’s not long now until the May box will be arriving so don’t forget to head over to the Cohorted website on the 1st May to see if you can get one. This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
