I am back! I’ve been caught up with work, a spot of ill health and a total lack of WiFi as I have been spending so much time in Cuba lately. However, my notebook is bursting with ideas and I am getting organised and back on track. Since the weather has changed from gloomy and miserable to the gorgeous bright sunshine, I am feeling in such a good place right now and my camera is itching to play outside. In ode to the beautiful weather and because I’m feeling full of the joys of Spring, today’s post is showcasing the gorgeous Tatler Limited Edition Birchbox*, packed full of the best of British.
Francesca White, Beauty Editor of Tatler, has chosen six home grown brands to feature inside the Limited Edition box to celebrate Tatler’s new supplement ‘The Best Of British’. Not only that, but an exclusive introductory offer for a 12 month subscription to Tatler is included. The Tatler box is £25 and not part of your Birchbox subscription.
I’m really enjoying each months Birchbox as the plain boring boxes have been replaced by some lovely designs, and the Tatler box is no exception. Nestled inside the bright yellow tissue are six products, some that I’ve used before and some that are new to me, all originating from across the UK.
Ciaté London, from London – Paint Pot in Maybe Baby, full size £9
I have a few Ciaté polishes now and Maybe Baby is a very me colour. I’m having a bit of a love affair with nude colours right now and I love the super pigmented colours from Ciaté as well as the long lasting, high gloss finish.
Liz Earle Beauty Co, from Isle Of Wight – Cleanse & Polish, full size £14
I’ve been using Liz Earle skin care for many years and I adore the Cleanse & Polish. The 50ml size that is in the box is a great sample size for those who have never tried it, and also for me to keep in my suitcase for my work travels. You can buy the 50ml sample size from Liz Earle for £9.00 if you didn’t want to invest in the full size.
Bamford, from The Cotswolds – Bamford Geranium Hand and Body Wash, full size £22
I haven’t heard of this brand before but just one sniff of the essential oils within the hand wash left me craving more. Aloe Vera, Geranium, lavender and peppermint work beautifully together.
Dr Jackson’s Natural Products, From Somerset – Face Oil 03, full size £30
I’m really excited to use this face oil. I’ve been finding that face oils are working wonders on my combination skin lately. This 100% natural, antioxidant packed oil contains ingredients sourced from across the world and made on Dr Jackson’s farm in Somerset. The oil is full size and worth more than the entire box!
Aromatherapy Associates, from London – Renewing Rose Body Cream, full size £36
Aromatherapy Associates are one of my favourite brands at the moment so I was thrilled to see this inside the box. I’m not a huge lover of the scent of roses but combined with evening primrose and Shea butters make this body cream truly luxurious.
Percy & Reed London, from London – Big, Bold and Beautiful Dry Instant Volumising Spray, full size £14
I’ve been using Percy & Reed products for a while but I have never seen this product before today. I’m really looking forward to giving my flat hair some much needed volume. It’s also a full size bottle so it should last me quite a while.
For £25, the Tatler box contains a whopping £75 worth of products so it is definitely worth the money and I’m really impressed with the contents. As mentioned earlier, it isn’t part of your subscription but if you do buy it and also subscribe to Birchbox, they will both be shipped together around the 9th April.
