In between topping up my tan in those exotic destinations I’ve been visiting, I have been maintaining my gorgeous glow with the help of a gradual tanner. The Sunkissed Gradual Tan in Medium* has been a firm favourite of mine for the last few weeks, and it has become a permanent fixture in my beauty routine. Not only does is give a healthy glow, it also deeply moisturises my skin without leaving any streaks.
Sunkissed Gradual Tan is so moisturising and hydrating on the skin, due to the nourishing shea butter and vitamin E enriched formula. It leaves my skin silky smooth and helps combat any dry patches without causing the tan to enhance them. I always exfoliate beforehand to make my skin as smooth as possible so the tan is even. With it being such a thick moisturiser, I found it quite difficult to use at first with a mitt, as I am used to applying mousse or liquid with a mitt. It does give a better effect than applying directly with your hands as you can really buff Sunkissed Gradual Tan into your skin.
The moisturising cream smells like holidays, I can smell coconut and exotic flowers. Whilst the tan is developing I do get that false tan smell however as I normally apply it before bed, its not a problem as I’m asleep whilst the tan develops. In the morning once I’ve washed it off, I can’t smell any tell tale signs that I’ve been using a false tanner. The colour is a natural golden tan and not in any way orange on my skin. As I already have a deep tan, Sunkissed Gradual Tan makes my tan look deeper whilst leaving my skin looking supple and healthy.
I’m really impressed with Sunkissed Gradual Tan in Medium, from the formula to the colour that it develops in to. Sunkissed recommends that you wait for at least 6 hours to develop before showering. I also love the fact that it contains no parabens or alcohol. Sunkissed Gradual Tan in Medium is only £4.99 for 250ml and you can buy it directly from the Sunkissed website. Sunkissed also have a great selection of other tans, cosmetics and gifts on their great website.
