Well would you believe it! Soap and Glory, the bathroom beauty staple has turned ten years old. It seems like only yesterday that I purchased my first ever Soap and Glory Righteous Butter, which now has cult classic status. Over the years, my bathroom has housed so many of the iconic pink packaged products including the infamous Sugar Crush body scrub and my absolute fave, the Foam Call body wash. Christmas isn’t Christmas without taking delivery of The Big One, the ten product strong selection wrapped up in a limited edition toiletry bag. In fact, I’m that obsessed with Soap and Glory that I can’t actually get through all the products that I have.
I’m going to go through some of my favourites today, to give you some ideas if you haven’t yet tried anything from Soap and Glory or if you are after new ideas for the next time you hit Boots. Those Advantage points aren’t going to spend themselves!
My bathroom essentials can be narrowed down to just four products from the Soap and Glory range. Each day when I shower, I use Foam Call, which is scented with the Fruitigo fragrance. Fruitigo is a blend of peppermint oil, fig and orange which smells divine. I also use the Scrub of Your Life to get rid of any dry patches on my arms and legs. The scrub is scented with Original Pink, which holds a lot of memories from when I first started using S&G. Once a week, I have a good exfoliate with the Sugar Crush Body Scrub which contains zesty limes and lemons to really wake the skin up. It’s no wonder Sugar Crush is my favourite. For a good moisturise post bath and shower, I slather the Righteous Butter all over my skin and leave it to sink in. Its luxury at a budget price.
My travel essentials are a different story. For some reason, I tend to take an awful lot of S&G when I go away. Maybe it reminds me of home, I don’t know? In my liquids bag I have a Hand Maid; an antibacterial sanitiser, Hand Food hand cream, a Soap and Glory Body Mist and a Sexy Mother Pucker for a quick mid flight plumping. Each product is well used and has been used for so many years that it’s just normal for me to have them to hand. I also pack a mini Body Wash and Body Cream, which is currently the new Orangeasm scent and totally beautiful whilst being fresh and zingy. The Righteous Butter Tinted Body Lotion has also made it’s way into my bag for a little gradual tan action whilst the Orangeasm Super Tonic is there for a cheaper alternative to perfume especially when travelling.
You can find Soap and Glory in Boots where it is often on 3 for 2, so it’s a great excuse to treat yourself. Happy 10th Birthday Soap and Glory, here’s to the next 10 years!
