Can you believe that Soap & Glory are ten years old? Ten years of kitsch girly pink products that have been adorning my bathroom, with a collection that rivals Boots and a massive love for Sugar Crush. It’s no secret that I adore Soap & Glory, and even with all the products that collect up around my house, you can guarantee that I will have my firm favourites to hand, just where I need them. The bathroom is of course a pink haven and I’ve just added two new products into the mix. Brand new, just launched and totally different to my usual shower cream, its the Soap & Glory Shower Jelly.
It’s quite an interesting concept from Soap & Glory. A jelly that dissolves into a foamy lather on contact with water, whilst smelling of two of Soap & Glory’s best selling scents; Clean On Me and Sugar Crush. I’ve always been a lover of the a body polisher when I’m in the shower with two pumps of shower cream to keep me clean with a wonderful lather. To get the full effect from the jelly, the body polisher has been discarded whilst I’ve added the jelly straight to my skin. It’s foolproof, and it really does go from jelly to lather in seconds. I’ve always said that I find it really difficult to wash myself without a body polisher, just because it has been part of my routine for so long, so I wasn’t holding out much luck for managing to be able to use a minimal amount of product, without a polisher and without dropping it all over the bath rather than getting it all over me! Luckily, the lather is equivalent to Mount Vesuvius exploding and my body got enough lime scented bubbles to clean me from head to toe.
It’s a great new product, and I love the feel of the jelly before it melts into a sudsy explosion. Although I still haven’t dragged myself away from my usual shower method, I have been dropping a blob of jelly onto my polisher and getting stuck in that way rather than applying it straight to my bod.
