When I burst onto the blogging scene back in 2013, the bloggosphere was consumed with the love of Indeed Labs Hydraluron. It’s one of my more vivid memories of the beginning of my blogging career, as I really fell for the hype and found myself in Boots stockpiling the Hydraluron Serum and Moisture Jelly. Even now, five years down the line, I am still falling for the hype of Indeed Labs, and whilst I don’t use Hydraluron as much, I have fallen head over heels for other products from the range. Whilst I’m trying to keep my skincare at a minimum, I am adding in products for targeted concerns and areas and I have found some little gems that are working their magic.
Before the days of Hydraluron, Indeed Labs launched with Nanoblur, I believe back in 2011. The first ever skin blurring cream that I was aware of was by Indeed Labs, designed to combat the HD camera lens that picked up every little mark and flaw. Skin blurring has now become second nature to most of us. We are all for the soft focus, blank canvas face that looks impossibly flawless, and Nanoblur is a perfect addition to the daily makeup routine. Nanoblur is special in the fact that it isn’t a primer. As it smooths out imperfections that make up can’t, it can be used over the top of liquid foundation, under powders, mixed with a moisturiser or even as a makeup perfecter throughout the day.
For such a long time, I have avoided retinol products due to the constant travelling and being exposed to the sun in foreign destinations. It’s been actually nice to start introducing a retinol product back into my routine. Indeed Retinol Reface contains 3 different types of retinol to help with the renewal of skin, making it softer and smoother and in turn making me look younger than I am. As it does work intensely on the skin, you do need to ensure that SPF is being used during the day as skin will be more prone to burning whilst the skin cell turnover is being promoted.
My secret weapon in a morning is bright, wide awake eyes and I have found the perfect product to give me that wide awake look, even at 6am where I want to be in bed with my eyes tightly closed. Indeed Eysilix 2 reduces puffiness and re-energises the skin in the morning, but when used at night it works hard to tackle the fine lines and crows feet that are sneaking up on me. It’s such a soothing cream that I actually look forward to using it in the morning for an instant refresh.
As part of the targeted skincare routine, Indeed have introduced six new booster serums into the product range. Each booster is designed to be mixed with an existing serum or moisturiser to add that something extra to your routine. Q10 is an absolutely fabulous product for me, and as I suffer from dehydrated skin, a few drops of this into my moisturiser morning and night, and my skin feels full of moisture. It’s also a great anti ageing product and helps repair and regenerate the skin.
Now I’ve spilt all my youthful skin secrets, will you be trying any of these products?
