Whilst having my mini makeover in Sephora, where I got colour matched to the gorgeous MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation, the lady applied a flush of colour to my cheeks which happened to be NARS Blusher in Torrid. Although I use NARS quite frequently in my make up, I had never seen or heard of Torrid. Why had I never seen this gorgeous colour before? Perfect for Summer, and in my eyes, it makes Orgasm fade in comparison to this beautiful, warm coral with a hint of golden shimmer.
As with all the NARS blushes, it is packaged in its signature black rubberised packaging which looks sophisticated at first until it starts to get a bit grubby and a bit of a pain to keep in its pristine condition. The mirror inside is a decent size for topping up on the go, and I have been applying my blush with my Sephora Pro Airbrush blush brush in #54 for that flawless, airbrushed finish.
The colour is beautiful. The warm tones sit perfectly on the skin and the colour can be built up for a more dramatic effect. Combined with a tan, the coral colour just screams Summer. A hint of golden shimmer than runs through the blush gives the blush depth but doesn’t leave your cheeks looking glittery. In fact, I find that the glitter hardly transfers onto the skin but leaves a slight shimmer that refracts the light.
I can’t find NARS Blusher in Torrid on the UK NARS website, or any other site that stocks NARS so I’m not certain if it can be purchased from the UK or why? If anyone spots it, please let me know! Until then, you can pick it up from Sephora for $30.This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
