I have been a lover and subscriber of the beauty boxes for a good two years, if not more. I have flitted from subscribing to cancelling, to purchasing just one box and then waiting on reviews. Birchbox has been the box I seem to have stayed loyal to over the years, although it was called Jolie Box back when I first found them. I haven’t had a Birchbox for a while, however when I saw that Lulu Guiness was collaborating with them this month, I had to have it.
Inside this months Lulu Loves Birchbox there was a little booklet of Life Lessons as told by LuLu Guiness which mention Benefit Stay, Don’t Stray and Gimme Brow as a feature. There was also an exclusive offer card, two vouchers for a Benefit makeupper and a contents card.
English Laundry No.7 for her sample, £47 full size.
I’m not a huge fan of receiving perfume samples in beauty boxes, as they can be quite easily picked up in department stores. However, this sample from English Laundry is lovely. Its fresh and clean, with top notes of pear and jasmine and I can also smell vanilla and sandlewood within it. Lovely for Spring and Summer.
Benefit Stay, Don’t Stray sample, £20.50 full size.
I’ve used Stay, Don’t Stray before and have to say, it cements your concealer in place until you remove it. A big thumbs up for a new handbag sized primer!
Korres Citrus Body Milk 50ml, £9.50 full size.
The body milk smells so delicious, I can’t wait to slather this over me! Hydrating, with almond oil and shea butter.
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner sample, £39 full size
I’m really looking forward to trying this as I’m having huge issues with my nose and chin at the moment. If it works, then I will gladly spend £39 on the full size! The formula minimises pores and absorbs excess oil. Perfect.
Molton Brown Rhubarb and Rose hand cream sample, £10 full size
I adore Molton Brown and have been dying to sample their newest fragrance in the range, Rhubarb and Rose. It doesn’t disappoint and i’m sure it will become a handbag essential.
There was also a lifestyle extra of a Lulu Guiness stick of rock, but I ate it 🙂
Overall, I am quite pleased with my March Birchbox. Its not the best, nor is it the worst but the brands and range of goodies inside are enough to keep me pleased for the next few weeks!
Birchbox is available from Birchbox website with a minimum subscription term of £10.This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
