A good After Sun is an absolute must in my job. I am pretty fastidious about wearing SPF, sunscreens and such like so After Sun is no different. There’s nothing worse than having dry, peeling skin and I’ve done it recently by getting burnt and I can guarantee that I won’t be doing it again in a hurry! Lancaster Tan Maximizer is probably one of my favourite sun care items, and I always have a bottle of Tan Max in my case for when I am on long haul.
Lancaster Tan Maximizer is a soothing After Sun, so once applied to skin that has been exposed to the sun it cools, soothes and calms the skin. I like to keep mine in the fridge for a post shower treatment. I love the feeling of cold cream on a warm body. The moisturisers with the cream have active hydrating properties to add moisture back to dehydrated skin. A good intensive moisturiser helps to reduce the risk of peeling by keeping the skin supple and a soft and stop it from drying out.
I think the ingredients within Lancaster Tan Maximizer have made it into a star product. Heliosome, which is an exclusive Lancaster complex helps to prolong your tan for up to 80% longer. So, its not just an amazing moisturiser and soothing lotion, but it keeps you brown. Heliosome stimulates the melanin production in your skin making it rise to the surface and and staying there, making your tan look deeper and last longer. I don’t tend to start fading for a good 3-4 weeks after I have returned home from a beach trip. Over last Winter, I maintained my tan until mid December after finishing flying in October.
