Ok my lovelies, I have an exciting post to share with you today and it is to coincide with the launch of the newest make up brand, Kiss Cosmetics. I’ve been watching Kiss Cosmetics develop their brand over the last few months in our secret Facebook group and have been inputting my thoughts and feelings on the questions they have been asking about make up whilst the cosmetic line develops. It’s all very exciting stuff and I’m waiting in anticipation to see the whole range when it’s released. I’ve been lucky enough to have been sent one of the brand new Kiss Cosmetics Lipstick in Birthday Suit* to try, and my goodness – it’s beautiful.
Birthday Suit is one of those colours that would flatter anyone. It’s a naked nude shade, which I was a bit apprehensive about wearing at first as I have quite red lips and some neutrals are a tad too pale for my skin tone. As Birthday Suit is a apricot toned nude, it just gives that added dimension to my lips. I don’t want to give it the ‘my lips but better’ as it’s not the same colour as my lips but it looks so lovely on, and without being cliché, it really does make my lips look better than usual. The colour is a great shade to wear with a tan, and as I’ve fallen back into my golden bronzed phase, I couldn’t pick a better colour than Birthday Suit to complement the look. Teamed with a smoky eye, I can see Birthday Suit being my go-to shade for evenings out.
The Kisstick range features ten highly pigmented shades that are encased within a glossy black tube. I love the branding, the design and the fact that I can see the shade of my lipstick from the bottom of the tube. So much thought has gone into the design process and I’m very impressed by what I see. The Kisstick range is just £7 which is unbelievable for such a creamy, rich formula. I must also mention just how moisturising Birthday Suit is, and although its longevity isn’t the lengthiest, which is totally normal for a nude lipstick, the moisture and balm like texture that remains stays there for quite sometime. As well as being a great product, the lipstick is also cruelty free and not tested on animals.
Kiss Cosmetics launch in the UK from week commencing 20th April and all products will be available on the Kiss website. I really can’t wait to see the full line so expect a lot more from Kiss Cosmetics on Anoushka Loves!
