John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Every girl wants to have that ‘just stepped out of a salon’ look, every day of the week without having to fork out those pennies for a weekly blow dry. I’m a bit rubbish with styling my own hair so I am a huge lover of those products that promise to give my fine, colour treated hair a lot of volume and shine without me doing much to it. After using John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner* which has been specially formulated for fine, colour treated hair, I have to say that I have been doing a lot of swishing about.

The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Shampoo and Conditioner for colour-treated hair (a bit of a mouthful isn’t it!) has a formula to replicate the smooth and silky feeling that you get after colouring your hair. I know from experience that my hair feels amazing after a colour until around the 3rd wash and I start to get the frizzy, straw like feeling which no one should be getting. The shampoo and conditioner not only smooths down the hair shafts, but leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling smooth. The shampoo uses a special polymer to create space between the hair shafts to give that extra volume all over, whilst not compromising on its cleansing properties. The conditioner helps smooth the hair and gives each strand a firm flexibility to stop breakage.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

I’ve been using the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner 3 times a week for the last two weeks and I have noticed a big difference in my hair. It feels clean as soon as the shampoo has been washed out, with no areas that feel like I have a build up of product, which is a common problem that occurs with my hair. My hair was super easy to brush through, and detangling wasn’t a problem. After blow drying, my hair looks smooth and shiny and it has reduced the amount of times that I have to straighten my hair, which is just amazing for not only my time but for my hair. Best of all, my colour looks fresh and although it has been 4 weeks since I changed my colour, it still looks as healthy and as fresh as the day it was done.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Not only is the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner an absolute steal at £5.89, but it is also on offer at Boots in the 3 for 2 deal.

I love the feeling of hair after dying it, what an amazing idea to make it feel like that! I do need a new shampoo as well, but I don’t really need any volume so not sure whether I should get this! I’ll definitely add it to the maybes though :) John Frieda have never let me down so far!
