As promised in my last post on the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Divine Lips lipstick in Evelyn, I am bringing to you another lipstick to drool over. This time I am introducing you to a colour that could have been made just for me. Yes, its the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Lipstick in Fontaine*.
Fontaine was named after a character that Joan once played in a film. Fontaine Khaled was the main character in her sister Jackie Collins book, The Bitch. I love how Joan Collins has named all of her lipsticks after characters she has played as they capture her persona. Its such a lovely touch. The lipstick itself is an absolute beauty and just like its sister Evelyn, its formula is like skincare in a lipstick. It hydrates beautifully and doesn’t ever feel dry. Coverage is opaque in one swipe and again, the formulation is one of the longest lasting in any lipstick which I have tried. Again, the packaging is what you would expect from Joan, classy and sophisticated in a gold sleek bullet.
As you can see from the swatch, it is totally opaque in one swipe and the creamy formula leaves almost a gloss shine. Its a true hot pink, with a slight blue toned base that makes my teeth look so white. When I’ve worn Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Lipstick in Fontaine for work, it really has lasted all day, which is just perfect for someone who is on the go. I’m head over heels for Fontaine!
