Throwing myself deeply into the world of bareMinerals, I’ve been loving a natural look for those lazy days. I know, the girl who lives in full coverage foundation has been swapping the Magic Foundation for a lighter, mineral based powder foundation. Who would have thought it, hey? After last weeks post on the QVC Beauty Upgrade, I have been including even more bareMinerals products into my daily routine, including a very special product that I have discovered. Not only that, but if you keep on reading, you can find out how to win with the #BareSelfieUK competition.
But first, let me take a Selfie…
On my skin today, I’m wearing the bareMinerals Original SPF15 Foundation in Light, over the top of the bareMinerals Prep Step. The colour is slightly too pale for my skintone right now, but I love how it gives great coverage whilst feeling lightweight on the skin. A few dots of the bareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer have covered blemishes in an instant. I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it is, and I’m really loving this product. After using a serum based foundation in the past, I have loved the soft and blendable consistency. It’s not sheer like I thought it would be, yet it gives the most wonderful, brightening finish with a flawless coverage. I’m so pleased that I have discovered this concealer, it’s bloomin’ amazing.
To help set my concealer in place and to offer some extra help to my oily t-zone, I’ve used the bareMinerals bareSkin Perfecting Veil Finishing Powder to add brightness and subtle soft focus to the skin. Again, lightweight in consistency, it leaves the skin looking fresh and not cakey. As the foundation is slightly light, I’ve warmed my skin up with the bareMinerals READY Bronzer in Skinny Dip. A wonderful matte bronze that can be used to carve out cheekbones or like I prefer, to dust over the face for a sunkissed look.
To finish off my #BareFaceSelfie, I have gone for full, fat lashes and a pop of pink on my lips using the bareMinerals Lash Domination Volumising Mascara. Unlike the brush on the Lash Domination Presicion Brush, this really helps in pulling the product from root to tip, for a fat lash look. I still prefer to use the precision brush on my lower lashes rather than my upper lashes, because of the different looks they both create. On my lips, I’m wearing the bareMinerals Pop of Passion in Pink Passionate. The pink is a much better colour on my lips and leaves them looking rosy, like I’ve been eating strawberry sweets. It’s more of a lip balm than a lipstick so staying power is less than your average lipstick but the hydration that it gives is simply perfect.
