My blog is a little bit eye shadow heavy this week, so I do apologise in advance, but…. I couldn’t not show you one of my favourite eye shadow palettes. The thing I love the most is that the colours were specially selected by me.
Inglot Cosmetics have been around for approximately 25 years, however its only up until recently that I’ve been hearing about their ever growing popularity. Whilst in Las Vegas in June, I came across the Inglot counter and was totally lost for words. Apart from their normal packaged cosmetics, Inglot have devised the Freedom System, the perfect way of making your own palettes that suit you or your needs. With over 200 eyeshadows to choose from, the possibilities are endless. Being my usual impulsive self, I wanted the 20 pan palette, however I sensibly went for the 4 pan. (I will be buying a 20 pan palette one day!)
I chose colours that I wear the most, bearing in mind that I want to keep this palette as my work/travel palette. These are the ones I went for.
Top L-R: 11, Pearl 397
Bottom L-R: 606, AMC Shine 21
I use 11 in the inner third of the eyelid, with 606 over the rest. AMC 21 is a great crease colour and blends exceptionally well to create a natural smokey eye. Pearl 397 is a perfect highlight colour, with salmon pink tones. The eye shadows themselves are great quality, they are heavily pigmented and silky to the touch and ave minimal fall out when applied. The packaging is superb for travelling and the magnetic points that hold the lid of the palette on are very strong and I haven’t had any mishaps at all, and all my shadows are still intact.
You can buy Inglot freedom system here in the UK, from the Inglot website. Palettes start at £5 and eyeshadows are £4.50 each. This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
