Its Makeup Revolution Weekend over here at Anoushka Loves, and I have to tell you about the amazing goodies that I have been playing around with lately. First up is my ultimate favourite purchase, not only because the packaging is to die for, but because it is one of the most sublime blushes that I have used recently. Let me introduce you to the I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Candy Queen of Hearts Blusher.
For those of you who haven’t heard of Makeup Revolution, err where have you been?! Makeup Revolution launched back in March 2014 and landed into the beauty world with a bang. A range of over 300 different products offering shades for every skin tone, great quality makeup and with an affordable price point with items starting from just £1. The I Heart Makeup line is one that has drawn me in; hook, line and sinker. When I first saw these gorgeous Blushing Hearts on The Sunday Girls blog, I knew that these £4.99 beauties, that don’t look to dissimilar to the £25 offerings from Too Faced, just had to be mine. I’ve only got this one so far as the other two that I want are out of stock, but once they are back online, they’ll be on their way to my house with the super fast tracked delivery that Makeup Revolution has to offer.
The I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Candy Queen of Hearts is a baked blush featuring three colours that are perfect for any skin tone. On my warm medium skin tone, its sits beautifully and blends like a dream. The three colours in the blush are warm toned, and can be used alone or swirled together for a different take. The baked blush starts with my favourite colour; a blue toned pink that suits my skintone to perfection. A light orange based coral which looks beautiful as a highlighter and a deeper orange coral, that adds depth and definition to your cheeks.
When swirled together, the colour created reminds me of one of my MAC MSF in Light Flush, a perfect frosted flush of colour which brings out the colour in my eyes and the highlights of my hair. It’s just one of those colours that just suits, and I imagine it would look good on anyone who wears it. Although it looks very shimmery in the pan, when mixed together and blended it just looks beautiful.
Not only does the I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Candy Queen of Hearts look amazing on, it also look pretty amazing on my dressing table. I can’t wait to add the Goddess of Love Highlighter and Summer of Love Bronzer to my collection. Pick yours up from the Makeup Revolution website, and keep an eye out as they are being launched into Superdrug stores across the UK. My local Superdrug has the I Heart Makeup stand but no stock so I will be watching that like a hawk! This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
