Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection

Every October I like to purchase a pink ribbon product, in which proceeds of the sale goes towards a Breast Cancer Charity. Breast Cancer Awareness Month has so many brands getting involved, and you can see my pick of the best Pink Ribbon products here. One of my favourites is the Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection in collaboration with Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley, so I had to snap it up. I love that I can be indulgent for such a good cause.

Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection

Priced at £28, the Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection is made up of a pink contrasting clutch with a pink ribbon charm, a limited edition Estéee Lauder Pure Colour Long Lasting Lipstick in Dream Pink and two 5ml nail varnishes in Blushing Lilac and Berry Hot. The lipstick alone would cost £21 so I think this little set is not only gorgeous but great value for money, alongside the £10 that will be donated to charity from its sale.

Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection

Dream Pink Lipstick has a lovely creamy formula that applies with an opaque coverage in one swipe. It is hydrating and easy to apply with no pulling or dragging. It reminds me very much so of the MAC Amplified Creme finish with its wow factor colour and satiny finish. I got around 5 hours of wear from Dream Pink whilst eating and drinking so I’m really happy with the longevity. It also leaves a stain on the lip and whilst wearing off, it doesn’t cling to dry patches nor feel uncomfortable.

The nail varnishes are so cute. At 5ml, they are a great size to take away with me. I would wear Blushing Lilac as an accent nail colour alongside Berry Hot. The pale blue flecks inside Blushing Lilac have a special purpose which I think is such a lovely feature. It is to represent the 1% of the male population who also have suffered from breast cancer. I do like it when things have hidden meaning or messages.

I love my Estée Lauder Dream Pink Collection, and I’m so pleased that I picked one up, especially with such a great portion of the sale going towards the charity. Have you seen a pink ribbon product that you’ll be buying?

This collection is adorable. I often overlook Estee Lauder’s products. I was just thinking that to myself when I saw Melissa from Kiss and Makeup Blog feature some EL nail laquers. I know their new lipsticks are quite popular but I didn’t get on with them. I promised myself I would revisit the formula though. 🙂
