Erborian Bamboo Skincare

The way my skin is behaving at the moment is making me so happy. Hardly any blemishes, even skintone, minimal redness and in general, a healthy fresh glow. It’s taken quite some work to get it to a level in which I’m happy for me to feel comfortable going bare faced and I have a few secret weapons. Whilst I’m mainly using just one brand at the moment (more on that later), I’ve also been using Korean beauty brand Erborian to help me on my way. The skincare from Erborian is on another level and it focuses on perfect skin, which is exactly what I am aiming for. Using natural ingredients within it’s formulations, I’ve been more than impressed with what I have used so far. This time round, I’ve been using two products from the Erborian Bamboo range and they have changed my skin for the better.

The Erborian Pore Minimising Powder Effect Bamboo Matte Lotion has been the one product that I have really noticed a difference in since using it. The bi-phase lotion contains a powder, and when shaken and applied to the skin, it minimises pore and leave a velvety smooth finish. The thing I have noticed most is that it’s actually relatively moisturising whilst being mattifying and isn’t drying my skin out. It’s also had an affect on the production of sebum and my oily areas are not feeling oily at all. At £29, it’s quite pricey for a lotion but for the results that I have seen, I would repurchase this over and over again.

Another product I have been really enjoying using is the Erborian Bamboo Creme Frappee at £39. It’s a cooling and refreshing gel cream which feels icy cold when applied to the skin. It’s brilliant for waking you up in the morning and is light enough to be worn under makeup. It gives a boost of energy and hydration, and feels so good on the skin after I’ve used the Bamboo lotion.

As my skin has been looking so good, I have no need to slather on the foundation anymore. I have been adding a few drops of Erborian BB Drops to my Bamboo Creme Frappee and mixing them in before applying it to my face. The result is an evened out, flawless and fresh complexion that looks just like baby fresh skin. It does remind me of the Clinique Pep Start blurring cream and foundation drops but I find the cream to be so much more energising. It’s a great combination and works so well for me.

The more I try from Erborian, the more I’m really finding products that are targeting my areas of concern. I think I may possibly be a convert to K Beauty thanks to Erborian!
