Oh have I got a collection to show you. Summery, sophisticated and simply stunning, the Elizabeth Arden Sunset Bronze Collection has certainly caught my eye. I have never really delved into the world of Elizabeth Arden when it comes to make up and although I cannot live without the 8 Hour Cream collection, I have barely acknowledged the rest of the beauty range up until now. The Elizabeth Arden Sunset Bronze collection is a limited edition range of beauty must haves that are perfect for packing in your holiday suitcase, and to make you dream of sandy beaches, the hot sun and a golden sun kissed glow.
The sunset has really inspired the collections packaging, with hints of metallic pinks and purples and splashes of oranges and bronzes adorning the compacts. Bronzed accents tie the whole thing together and the whole collection looks not only luxurious but makes you long for Summer. The collection comprises of an eyeshadow palette, a bronzing palette, a highlighter and three lip glosses, all with a prismatic formula which is designed to intensify and create a 3D finish when applied. The light reflecting particles in the prismatic formulas are incredible, and they really make the products into something special. They work especially well when it comes to the lip glosses, which are quite spectacular.
The Sunset Bronze Prismatic Eyeshadow Palette is colour collection of five shadows, all in complimentary shimmery shades of plummy purple and sparkling amber with lighter pinks and creams and a muted taupe-purple. Having green eyes, the colours in the palette are perfect for enhancing my natural eye colour, whilst the pigmentation of the shades can make a really show stopping eye look.
I am slightly addicted to bronzers and I absolutely wouldn’t be able to pass up the Sunset Bronze Prismatic Bronzing Powder with all the will in the world. I mean, just look at it! It’s simply stunning. The powder itself is a lightweight, silky mineral based powder that transfers onto the skin with enough colour to make you sunkissed and glowing rather than muddy and orange. The prismatic formula means that it contains light diffusing technology which also helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Hurrah for no crows feet.
When I first saw the three Sunset Bronze Prismatic Lip Glosses, I practically squealed with excitement. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life as these super sparkly, iridescent glosses. In three shades; Moonlight Kiss – iridescent lilac, Midnight Kiss – pink with golden bronze and Sunset Kiss – a champagne shimmer. Whether they are worn alone or over a lipstick, the glosses are quite impressive with both application, and formula. My lips instantly looked plumped up when the gloss was applied, and although it is a gloss, it’s surprising just how long they last. They don’t feel sticky or gluey on the lips and I didn’t find my hair getting stuck to my face, which I usually do whilst wearing a gloss.
The Elizabeth Arden Sunset Bronze collection just screams summer and now I am excited to get away to a warmer clime. I can be certain that these new products will be taking a trip with me – it wouldn’t be summer without them. Have you tried anything from the Sunset Bronze range? Will you be trying anything?
