Hoarder Alert! I found this little beauty hidden in my pile of ‘things to photograph’ and I had totally forgotten all about it. The fact that I bought it last Summer in Orlando also tells me that I have way too much stuff and I really need to downsize. I may have to do a blog sale. However, the Anastasia won’t be included because I am in the process of buying all the colours. See, I am a hoarder. Still not available in the UK, the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip glosses are one of the best quality glosses that I have tried and Hibiscus is no exception. Perfect for Summer, this creamy opaque gloss is all sorts of wonderful.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Hibiscus is a creamy, opaque orange with red undertones with a high shine glossy finish. It applies like a dream and the applicator in the tube is shaped in such a way that the lip line can be traced easily and precisely. It’s very thick in formulation and quite easy to apply too much because of it’s thickness. Whilst wearing, I felt it to be mildly hydrating and my lips felt lovely and soft after the gloss had worn off. I got around 3 hours worth of wear from Hibiscus which to me is brilliant for a glossy product, especially one that leaves no staining. It applies easily and wears off evenly without leaving a ring of gloss around the outer of the lip.
In between the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Glosses and the liquid lipsticks, I now have the start of quite a decent sized collection, that I’ve found myself wearing more and more. In each post that I have written about the liquid lipsticks, I have practically declared my undying love to them. Candy Apple is still my work lipstick, topped with Socialite lip gloss. I’ve placed an order for two more liquid lips in Pure Hollywood and Milkshake which I will pick up from the USA soon and hopefully get chance to share with you as soon as possible.
I have quite a few lipstick posts coming up soon which I love doing, so please let me know if you want to see more. If you love the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip products, they can be ordered direct from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website where they retail for $16.
