Brand Focus: MEMI Makeup

Just before Christmas, I won a giveaway on Instagram where I was the lucky recipient of a box full of MEMI Makeup. A relatively new brand, I was completely unaware of MEMI until I was tagged into the giveaway. Aside from winning all these goodies, I’m actually really pleased that I have been introduced to the brand. Not only are the products great, but they are cruelty free and vegan to boot. I’ve fully immersed myself into the brand, and I’m so pleased that I get to share it with you today.

The key to a perfect base is moisturised and primed skin, of which MEMI Makeup have you covered. The Miracle Moisturiser is a beautifully rich cream that is suitable for sensitive skin. It gives immediate hydration and radiance and leaves a smooth, silky surface for makeup application. Due to the richness of the cream, it would also make a great night cream. It does remind me of Charlotte’s Magic Cream with it’s consistency and formulation.

I am a little obsessed with the Perfecting Radiance Primer right now. The level of glow that it gives my skin is something else. It’s lightweight and non greasy, with a subtle pearlescent shimmer that leaves a soft focus blur to my face. Wearing the primer alone, or with foundation over the top, the beautiful glow that it gives makes me look alive and fresh.

The first time I looked at the MEMI Makeup website, I was automatically drawn to the eyeshadow palettes and the gorgeous array of warm toned shades that spoke my language. Within my winning prize, I received the Matte Muse palette which contains 12 shades of warm, bold shades that I wear a lot of. Caramels, burnt oranges and reddy browns with neutral shades that create a multitude of looks. This palette is just £22 to buy and it’s incredibly pigmented with buttery soft and blendable shadows. It’s a definite ‘top of the pile’ palette for me.

The eyes are the windows to the soul and my windows like to be outlined with a cat eye flick and topped with lashings of mascara. Ticking all the eyeliner boxes, the MEMI Makeup Expert Liner has a flexible felt nib that draws the wing with ease. Carbon black and intense, no wonder it has been recognised by Cosmo magazine. The MEMI Makeup Volume Edition Mascara is giving me all the lashes with the hourglass shaped wand. It literally picks up each and every lash to give that doe eyed look that I love, with super black lashes.

Soleil Me Up in Luxe Tan is a warm toned bronzer that gives me a beautiful sunkissed glow without any muddy orange tones. Lightweight and buildable, it warms my skin up and gives me my Bali tan back. My love for warm nectar blushes hasn’t reduced so Ignition At First Blush blusher is ticking all the boxes for me. A swirl of blusher onto the apples of my cheeks and I look radiant. Finally, a sweep of Dreamer Radiance Highlighter across my cheekbones and Cupid’s Bow and I am glowing for the gods.

A makeup look is not complete with a slick of lipstick such as this pretty spring pink shade Date Night. In a satin finish, it’s surprisingly long lasting compared to other brands satin formulas. For a full on glossy pout, the MEMI Makup High Shine Gloss in After Hours is a warm neutral brown that makes lips look full and plumped up.

I’m so pleased with all that I have tried from MEMI Makeup so far. The quality is fantastic, whilst the formulations are really well put together to give great results. I can’t wait to try more.
