So sorry that Day 23 wasn’t up at 8am, but it’s better late than never. I’ve had a busy few days with work and prepping for Christmas; present wrapping, making cakes and treats and of course last minute shopping. Today I have a lovely day spending time with my mum and sister, and it was so nice. It’s quite rare that we all get chance to get together so I really treasure those little moments. When I was getting ready at 7:30am for an early start of shopping, I picked up the gorgeous Girl Panic palette* by Makeup Revolution and created a daytime smoked eye.
Girl Panic is the newest and prettiest Salvation palette from Makeup Revolution. I have a handful of the Salvation palettes and I really am so impressed with the quality of the product. A whopping 18 shades in the palette with 12 shimmer and 6 matte is excellent value for £6. To me, the colours in this palette are similar to the Naked 3 palette; warm pinks and nudes, bronze and chocolate shades that work so well with each other and blend seamlessly when applied.
L-R: Panic On The Street, By Invitation, Going On To Somewhere, I Am Beaten
L-R: Girlfriend, Chelsea Mayhem, Random, Going Nowhere
L-R Voice In My Head, City Trap
L-R: Going Under, Let It Happen, Naked Through
L-R Hypnotic, Mesmerised, Clever Words
As you can see the colours are really pretty and would suit any skin tone. The mixture of mattes and shimmers give you full control over what kind of look you are going for, especially as I like to use a matte shade on the lid first before building up with subtle shimmers. For the quality of the pigmentation in the shadows, if I hadn’t been aware of the brand, I would have presumed it was a high end brand. It’s very impressive and almost unbelievable that 18 shades only cost £6. I have mentioned Makeup Revolution a few times now and I urge you to try it. I love the Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate Palette and the I Heart Makeup Baked Blush is a staple item.
I can’t wait to see what 2015 brings from the geniuses at Makeup Revolution. Have you tried any products? Which are your favourites or which one do you want to try?
