Blogmas Day 22: Bare Minerals Main Attraction

I am a full coverage, all of the make up on my visage kinda girl. I like to look like I’ve got make up on and I probably do use my foundation as a form of mask. A medium coverage suits me fine, but anything sheerer makes me a bit nervous. Earlier on this year, I threw gauntlet to the wind and tried the Bare Minerals Get Started Kit. Surprisingly, I was quite impressed with the coverage and concept and from that, I found a new long haul worthy foundation. Itching to try more, I was introduced to the Bare Minerals Main Attraction set as well as BareSkin, the liquid mineral foundation.

I had my ‘make-under’ at Selfridges Trafford Centre, with the very lovely Sammi who I warmed to immediately. Sammi cleansed and prepped my skin using Bare Minerals skincare before applying the Bare Minerals BB Primer Cream. Using BareSkin in Bare Natural as a base, this was buffed in using the Perfecting Face Brush. I loved this unique brush with the little well in the top of the bristles that lets you put your foundation before buffing into the skin. The foundation is very light but gave a really lovely coverage.

Although I have tried the Get Started kit before, I am still a newbie to the world of Bare Minerals. I’m really impressed with the buttery soft eye shadows and the longevity of the BareSkin foundation. I’m really looking forward to trying more from the Bare Minerals range including the new, and not yet launched Bare Minerals Minealixirs.
