Having spent the last few weeks under the illusion that I was organised for my Christmas content, I have come to the conclusion that I really am not. At all. I’m slightly worried at just how much I have to do and when I’m supposed to do it. Eek. Ah well, as a consistent blogger, I’m almost certain that I will keep on top of things, in between going to work and having a social life. Today I am bringing to you a set that would make a perfect gift for a brow loving lady, or as a treat to yourself to create a perfect set of Wow Brows. If you have been reading my blog frequently, you will know that Benefit score very highly when it comes to brows with their huge range of brow products. Having used all of the items in the Benefit Soft and Natural Brow Kit, I was more intrigued to use the stencil and holder to try and create some fancy new brow shapes.
As with every single Benefit product, the packaging is adorable. Pink, girly and everything you would expect from the Benebabes, the collectable tin holds two full size brow products, a deluxe sample and the ever so handy brow stencil holder as well as a set of brow stencils. In shade 02 which is classed as light, I find this shade to be absolutely spot on for my darker brows. A dark blonde taupe colour which looks very natural with no red undertones. The full size products are a Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil as well as a High Brow which has been reformulated to a creamier, less chalky pink. A deluxe size Ready, Set, Brow is also included.
The Goof Proof pencil is a wider pencil for filling in thicker brows, with a triangular shaped pencil to create definition. I must admit that I do prefer the Precisely My Brow pencil as it’s more precise but Goof Proof is handy for filling in in a hurry. The High Brow pencil has been in my life for more years than I remember. The old formulation was great considering that I repurchased the pencil over and over again, but since it has been reformulated, I think I love it that little bit more. Ultra creamy, easy to glide over the areas that need highlighting and buttery soft to blend, it’s beautiful.
I have been raving about Ready, Set, Brow since it’s release and I literally use it every single day. I’m almost at the end of my tube so this deluxe sized tube will be very handy. Ready, Set, Brow is a setting gelthat applies from a silicone brush with very fine teeth. The gel sets quickly and holds brows in place for up to 24 hours, without flaking and leaving that funny feel across your face when you touch your head.
I’ve been avoiding having my brows done lately as I am trying to grow them out so I can adjust the shape. I’ve seem my brows go from severe power brow to a more subtle, lighter coloured and more natural arch. As they still need to be tended to, I’ve been trying to keep them in the shape that I’m used to them being like when I draw them on, yet I seem to have a slight difficulty in keeping my arch shaped. The stencils are going to be so handy and especially the holder for them. It’s such a great idea and it saves me time and money from having to get them professionally shaped when I can just shape them from the comfort of my own beauty room.
The Benefit Soft and Natural Brow Kit has been price matched in John Lewis and it’s only £25.65 at the moment, so I would grab it whilst it has 10% off the retail price. I believe it is available in 3 different shades so you can find the colour most suited to yourself.
