Do you know when you hear the hype about a product and think ‘Ah, I have 472769 neutral palettes so I really don’t need anymore’, then years later you see it in a shop and wonder how you’ve lived life without it for so long? Well, The Balm Nude’Tude Palette is one of those cult beauty items that I have been reaching for on a daily basis since I found it in Walgreens for $30.
The shadows themselves are super soft, buttery and well pigmented wonders. They are so soft that I think they would break fairly easily so take care when travelling with them. Mine did survive the journey from America to the UK but I haven’t had the pleasure of taking it on my travels and subjecting it to the cargo hold on a transatlantic flight. I will keep you posted on that! The shade names are super cute, with all of them starting with an S. I adore all the shades, except one. Sassy is just a little too chalky for my colouring and even used as a highlighter, I’m struggling as its packed with loose glitter rather than ran through with shimmer. The glittery shades outweigh the matte shades, with a total of 4 mattes out of 12. The palette comes with a great sized mirror, and a shadow/liner brush with lovely soft bristles. I haven’t used the brush but it will stay in the palette, just in case I need it.
I’ve been using the darkest shades as eye-liners, with the lighter browns as a base for a natural smoked eye. Its a definite winner for versatility with both daytime and evening looks being easy to do from the colours available. And, I honestly needed another neutral palette…
You can buy The Balm Nude’Tude Palette from Feel Unique for £26.50. There are two different designs on the palette. The palette I have is the Nice palette and the other version is the Naughty. This post may contain PR samples that have been sent to me for consideration for review however all my opinions will be my own.
